Part embodiment, part Shibari, part poetry, the Holy Trinity aims to explore domination, submission, consent & connection in its complexity and nuance - with Shibari being a beautiful microcosm to the intimate relating of the masculine and feminine.

Like the 3 weavings of a rope these are the threads that form the poetic bonds of the Holy Trinity

heart / womb / sex

The full embodiment and union of the feminine instead of the fragmented performative feminine. This infinite contradictory landscape honours the true depths of eros, in its authenticity and truth - In its pain or pleasure and being seen, accepted and ravished in it all.

me / you / rope

There are 3 entities in a relationship. Me, you, and us. With rope being a physical manifestation of ‘us’. A bridge for that rich and complicated divide between 2 people in its vulnerability, and strength. Where rope becomes the conduit for embodied active consent. Embodied consent being always intimately in tune with the internal chords of feeling within, and the external chords of connection, with another. Where domination and submission is never fixed nor forced. Nor a hierarchy, but a mutually supportive balance of power, in service to a power greater than one. The rope reveals our interdependence.

past / present / projection of past in present

Giving conscious awareness to the shadows of the past in the present and untangling these threads. Honouring that the trauma and wounds of the past is what people may bring into these spaces, whether that be an intimate relationship or a Shibari tie. It is by acknowledgement of these wounds that we open up the potential of Eros for healing, repatterning and liberation rather than re-traumatisation.

In reverence to the ethos of this project, it was filmed raw, unrehearsed and unchoreographed in the embodied truth of vulnerably connecting for the first time whilst consciously bringing in past experiences in order to reweave them through the alchemical process of art, relationship and conscious kink.
